Mary Antonetti is a partner in the Firm’s New Haven office, specializing in tax compliance and consulting services for not-for-profit and healthcare organizations. She has 30 years of public accounting experience with national and international firms. Her extensive experience includes for healthcare and other tax-exempt organizations and their for-profit affiliates, including higher education institutions, NGOs, hospital systems, title holding companies, Official Catholic Directory entities, and private foundations.

Mary Antonetti

Mary Antonetti is a partner in the Firm’s New Haven office, specializing in tax compliance and consulting services for not-for-profit and healthcare organizations. She has 30 years of public accounting experience with national and international firms. Her extensive experience includes for healthcare and other tax-exempt organizations and their for-profit affiliates, including higher education institutions, NGOs, hospital systems, title holding companies, Official Catholic Directory entities, and private foundations.

Mary’s skillset includes consulting on the implications of tax reform, unrelated business income, alternative investments, foreign reporting, joint venture transactions, Section 501(r) of the Internal Revenue Code, restructuring, application for exempt status, IRS audit support, community benefit reporting, Community Health Needs Assessments (CHNA), tax-exempt bonds, HHS Provider Relief Funds, CARES Act, and private inurement issues.

She also has experience providing middle-market companies with general tax compliance and planning services focused on corporate acquisitions, dispositions, and reorganizations of entity structure, including consolidated groups, S-Corporations, and multi-tiered partnerships with domestic and foreign operations.Prior to joining Marcum, Mary served as a director with a Big Four firm located in Hartford.

Katy Daiell is the partner-in-charge of Tax and Business Services for Providence, Rhode Island, a member of the Firm’s Corporate Tax Services group, leader of the Corporate Tax Advisory Group, and the co-leader of New England’s Life Science/Technology Industry Group. Additionally, she has over 19 years of experience working with public and private clients of varying size and complexity.

Katy Daiell

Partner and Boston Women's Initiative Leader, Marcum LLP

Katy Daiell is the partner-in-charge of Tax and Business Services for Providence, Rhode Island, a member of the Firm’s Corporate Tax Services group, leader of the Corporate Tax Advisory Group, and the co-leader of New England’s Life Science/Technology Industry Group. Additionally, she has over 19 years of experience working with public and private clients of varying size and complexity. Katy has a diverse background in corporate tax, including tax compliance and planning for multi-national and multi-state corporate enterprises both publicly owned and closely held, as well as pass-through entity taxation and ASC 740 tax provision preparation and review. Her industry experience includes technology, bio tech, life sciences, manufacturing, distribution, alternative investments, private equity, and professional service firms. She has worked for regional, national, and international public accounting firms in the past.

Katy also serves as the Women’s Initiative Leader for the Firm’s Boston office. She received her Master’s in the Science of Taxation in 2010 from Bryant University of Rhode Island.

Liz Ciccone

World Champion Equestrian

Liz began riding horses at age six and never looked back. Her competitive nature quickly took her to the show ring and she spent her junior exhibitor career competing on the open circuit before graduating to the amateur ranks. In 2014, she won her first World Championship title in only her second time competing at the Morgan Grand National & World Championship Horse Show, after also winning her Grand National qualifying class. She has since won three World Championship titles with three different horses in three different divisions, as well as winning back-to-back Reserve World Championship titles in the Amateur Park Saddle division, the highest echelon of the amateur ranks.

Liz Ciccone

The pinnacle of her riding career to date came in 2023, when she chose to take on professionals in the Ladies Park Saddle division where she and her horse, Charlotte, won, earning them the honor as the current reigning World Champions after also securing the win in their Grand National qualifying class. 

Liz and her horses have been many time cover stars for the industry’s leading publications, including National HorsemanThe Saddle Horse Report and The Morgan Horse magazine. In 2022, Charlotte was selected by the United Professional Horseman’s Association as the Ladies Park Saddle Horse of the Year, an honor that was bestowed upon her a second time in 2023, making her the first horse to ever achieve that recognition in consecutive years. In the 2023 People’s Choice Awards, Liz was selected as Amateur of the Year from a group of thousands of amateur riders, moving up from her Reserve finish in 2022.

Liz and Charlotte are currently gearing up for the 2024 show season, with their sights set on defending their 2023 World Championship title

Emily Miner

Motorcycle Enthusiast and Builder

Emily is 41 years old and mother to a 16 year old son. She lives in Pawcatuck CT. Emily has an Associates of Science in Accounting with the highest honors. She is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance. When she is not crunching numbers, you can find her near or on a motorcycle. Her passion for Harley Davidson is in her blood, as she came from parents who were some of the most legendary bike builders of their time. Emily gained recognition for her restoration of her parents first build, “The Nautilus”.

Her passion for Harley Davidson is in her blood, as she came from parents who were some of the most legendary bike builders of their time. Emily gained recognition for her restoration of her parents first build, “The Nautilus”. Her story of the restoration process is filled with passion and determination. She has since swept many motorcycle shows, was featured in three different motorcycle calendars, and was just featured with The Nautilus in the August of 2023 Easyriders Magazine. Emily caught the attention of billionaire Ted Doering, owner of V-Twin Manufacturing. He commissioned Emily to build him a motorcycle, which will soon be placed in Motorcyclepedia Museum in Newburgh NY. Emily will become the first woman to have a build on display at the museum.

In late 2023, Emily competed in the 26th annual Catskill Mountain Thunder Rally bike build off. She went head to head against 5 teams of all men and built a 1980 Ironhead Sportster from scratch in 3 ½ days. She ended up winning the build off, making her the very first woman to ever enter or win the competition. She is currently filming a TV Show with The Motorcycle Channel called “Lady Bike Builder” and has the opportunity to become the first woman bike builder at Laconia Bike Week in June.

Becca Pizzi

Marathoner and Children's Book Author

Becca is 43 years old, and lives in Belmont MA with her husband Joe and 16 year old daughter Taylor. She graduated from Belmont High School in 1998. Having been the first American female to run the World Marathon Challenge in 2016- 7 marathons on 7 continents in 7 days, Becca went back, and made history by running it again and breaking the Guinness Book of World Record in a time of 6 Days, 7 Hours and 58 minutes. She has completed a marathon in all 50 states. She has finished the World Marathon Majors and has run 19 consecutive Boston Marathons! She raced Kona Ironman World Championships in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii in 2023. She attributes her success to the her family and the Boston Community who both have inspired her and supported her dreams. She is most passionate about directing the Becca Pizzi 5k race in Belmont, and the Becca Pizzi Foundation and Becca is an author of children’s book “Becca’s Feat on Feet.” All book proceeds benefit the Becca Pizzi Foundation.

Ashley Wilson, is the Founder and CEO of Bar Down Investments, LLC, Co-Founder of Apartment Addicts & Co-Founder of HouseItLook, LLC, Best Selling Author of The Only Woman in the Room, Knowledge and Inspiration from 20 Women Real Estate Investors, a regular contributor to RENT magazine and has hosted several BiggerPockets multifamily series. She started investing in real estate in 2009 and has been involved in over $165 million in transactions and managed over $13 million in construction, within both single and multifamily, across over 1,500 units. In addition to operating her own investments, Ashley provides consulting and mentorship to other operators and investors. Ashley graduated on the Dean’s List from Colgate University and then received a Masters in Leadership Development from Penn State University, where she was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society. Ashley is a certified Six Sigma Lean Professional (SSLP) and a certified NAA Independent Rental Owner Professional (IROP). Today Ashley serves on the Penn State Real Estate Board, the Co-Chair of her alma mater, Colgate University, and a Montgomery School Board of Trustee. Outside of real estate she enjoys spending time with her family and competing her horses in the hunter-jumpers.
