Optimizing the Coming Wave of Infrastructure Construction

Steve Jones, Senior Director, Industry Insights Research, Dodge Data & Analytics

There will be significant increases in federal and state infrastructure construction programs over the next few years. But traditional projects have been plagued by cost and schedule overruns, quality and safety challenges, and high risks for design and construction practitioners. The worst outcome would be to spend all this new money delivering projects in the same old ways, with the same sub-optimal results. Dodge Data & Analytics studies both the construction economy and the practice, technology and project delivery trends that are improving project performance across the industry. Steve Jones, Senior Director of Industry Insights Research for Dodge will share their forecast for the infrastructure market and highlights of their research on how leading companies are successfully deploying new approaches.
