Overview

Learn the reasons behind the inception of the social security program. When was it created? Why? How is it funded? This course will also teach the different types of benefits, such as retirement, disability, etc. We will educate on how the benefits are calculated. Spouse, widow, divorce, and family benefits will also be explained. This will all relate back to how social security is positioned in one’s financial/retirement plan, and the way the benefits are collected DOES matter.

Marcum LLP is proud to offer the Education with a Bite Series as a free event and all attendees will receive CPE and CE credits.

Join us for breakfast and start your workday learning about an array of topics from some of the most qualified and educated speakers. Breakfast will be served at 7:00 AM and the presentation will begin at 7:30 AM and run anywhere until 8:30 or 9:00 AM.

We always look forward to seeing new faces, so please feel free to spread the word to those business advisors and clients that you feel would benefit from this event.
