Medina Jett, President of Integrated Compliance Solutions Group, LLC, will be discussing what fund managers should be doing to prepare for SEC registration to ensure that they have an effective compliance program in place when the time comes. She will also discuss the key rules and trends impacting the alternative investments industry and what you need to know to avoid some common pitfalls. Medina will answer any questions from the audience to ensure a meaningful presentation.


About Medina Jett

Medina Jett has over 25 years of legal and compliance experience in the financial services industry. She has held the chief compliance officer role at Cigna Retirement & Investment Services, Prudential Retirement and The Hartford. In 2008 she launched ICSGroup, a compliance consulting firm that provides compliance services to registered investment advisors, primarily advisors to small and mid-sized private equity funds, hedge funds and real estate funds. ICSGroup helps its clients comply with SEC rules and satisfy institutional investor due diligence requirements by providing a broad range of compliance services, including customized compliance manuals, annual compliance reviews and mock SEC exams, compliance training and SEC exam coordination. Medina holds a BA from Wesleyan University, a JD from Georgetown Law School and an MBA from the University of Connecticut School of Business.
